Two Hundred Years of Reaching Beyond Ourselves
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Eggertsville is celebrating 200 years of faith, family and service. Join us for a year of worship, stories and celebration from December 2026 through December 2027.
Rooted in Eggertsville for two centuries
Being the oldest Lutheran church in Erie County, St. Paul’s has a very long history. Since its founding in 1827, the congregation has been served by 26 pastors, from Rev. Meyerhoffer (1827-1828) and Rev. Adolph Boettger, who served from 1865 to 1896, to Rev. Carl G. Olin, Jr. (1968-1996) and Rev. Steve Biegner, our pastor since 2013.
After nearly 200 years, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church is looking forward to another two centuries serving the local community of Eggertsville and beyond.
“Empowering others with the gospel of Jesus Christ to make connections, enrich faith, nourish lives, and demonstrate God’s love in the world.”
